1. What is a Honeymoon Registry?
 
Do you already have all the cups, plates and silverware you need? Do you and your fiancé(e) dream of a romantic getaway? Then a Honeymoon Registry is perfect for you!
A Honeymoon Registry is simply an online gift registry where guests purchase a portion of your honeymoon, such as a picnic in the French Riviera or snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef. Thousands of couples have already chosen a Honeymoon Registry because they’ve already assembled a house full of the traditional wedding gifts and want, instead, to make memories that will last a lifetime.
2. How do I set up a Honeymoon Registry?
 
It’s easy!
First, you'll create an account by entering your personal details.
Next, you'll plan and/or book your travel on your own or through one of our partner agencies.
After you've planned your trip, you can divide the different sections of your honeymoon experience into increments that will be easy for your guests to purchase. Some couples divide their honeymoon by transportation, accommodations and activities, or by day 1, day 2, day 3, etc. We've designed the site to be flexible so you can plan your trip however you'd like. This is your dream trip, so be creative!
Next, you'll use our email notification system to send your guests your Honeymoon Registry details.
Once your guests are notified, you can sit back and watch as guests purchase gifts leading up to your honeymoon.
When all your guests have made their purchases, we'll mail you a check one week prior to your honeymoon.
3. How much does it cost?
 
We’ve designed our Honeymoon Registry to be affordable for honeymoons of all sizes. A 7.5% fee is applied only when a wedding guest purchases a gift on your list. If you set up your registry, then decide not to use our service, you don't owe us anything.
4. Why should I use SendUsOff.com?
 
We have features other Registry websites don't have. First, we save you time by emailing invitations to your guests so you don't have to. Then, we generate a Thank You list to make it easy to express your gratitude to your guests. Plus,

5. How can I inform my guests about my Honeymoon Registry?
 
We have found that in a lot of cases, our customers are setting up a personal Wedding Web pages through one of the various web sites offering this service, where they put all their information such as dates, hotel info, photo's, links to your registry page, 'about us' stuff and etc. So, guests can get all your wedding information from this one place, which leaves your honeymoon registry page for exactly that.
We also provide a feature which allows you generate an email inviting your guests to visit your gift registry.
6. How will I receive the gifts from my guests?
 
Your check will be sent a week before your wedding date so that it arrives (at the mailing address you specified when you signed up with us) just prior to your wedding (checks are processed on Monday, the week of your wedding, so that they arrive mid-week). Any payments received after the first check is sent will remain in your account for a month after your first check is mailed. At that time, a second check will be mailed with the remaining balance in your account. Each month after your wedding that you receive a gift you will receive a check from us. Your account will stay open for 12 months after your wedding.
Additionally, once your guests purchase something from your registry, they can print out a gift certificate
so they have something to bring to the wedding. The gift certificate is not redeemable for cash nor does it hold any value
other than signifying a purchase of a wedding gift from SendUsOff.com.
7. Can several wedding guests pitch in and buy one gift?
 
Absolutely! Your largest purchases (airfare, accommodations, etc.) will probably be divided into several smaller, more affordable increments, so several guests can pitch in to buy the entire lot. Keep in mind that there is no way to split up one of these pieces into multiple payments; all gifts must be purchased on a single credit card. When you fill out your Thank You note, make sure to put the names of all the guests who pitched in!
8. Why can't I change our personal details online?
 
To prevent anyone from fraudulently redirecting your honeymoon payment, we require that you contact us directly to make any changes to your personal details. We understand that this process may be inconvenient; we trust you understand it’s to ensure your protection.
9. How can I plan the travel for my Honeymoon?
 
You can make your travel arrangements any way you like. In fact, we encourage you to shop around for travel agents and airlines. Our primary service is to provide you with money to cover your expenses. If you have not yet made your travel arrangements, we would be glad to help you plan your honeymoon. 10. What is my username and how can I log into my account?
 
Your user name is either your last name (case sensitive) or your partner's last name. You should have received an email when you first signed up that has your username and password information, but if you have trouble remembering your username or password, please enter the email-address that you signed up with here, and we will send your login information again.
You can use your username and password to log into your honeymoon registry account at anytime to update your gift list, change or remove your picture, check on your account balance, see which guests have given you which gifts, read their notes to you and more.
11. Do you arrange the honeymoon travel for us?
 
We work with travel professionals that can help with your arrangements and have great honeymoon packages available, but you are not required to use them. We would be happy to refer you to a honeymoon specialist to help. They are wonderful and can make all the difference in your honeymoon experience.
12. What happens if we do not receive enough money for our honeymoon?
 
We strongly recommend that you research and purchase your honeymoon ahead of time, not only so you can get reasonable prices for flights and hotels, but because you cannot count on the fact that you will sell out your gift list. Some of your guests may not purchase items from your honeymoon registry and may prefer to get you something more traditional.
Once you have your honeymoon booked and paid for, you can then list all the details of your honeymoon into your SendUsOff.com honeymoon registry account so that your guests can purchase items off that list.
