Thailand is easily one of the best places to honeymoon. It may not be the most common honeymoon destination in the US, but we think it should be! The scenery is amazingly gorgeous and romantic and there are some of the world’s best beaches and lush, mountainous spots on earth. The shopping is phenomenal, the food is great, and the travel infrastructure is solid so getting around is easy. It is very safe, the people are friendly and you get very good value for the US dollar. What more could you ask for in a honeymoon destination?
There are great options to make your honeymoon eco-friendly which is important to keep in mind when planning any vacation. Check out our general eco-friendly honeymoon tips. We recommend you spend a few days in Bangkok getting over jetlag and then head to the beaches.
